Vesperal Liturgy – The Presentation of Our Lord in the Temple

Join us in worship this Wednesday evening, February 1st. There will be a vesperal liturgy commemorating the Presentation of Our Lord and Savior in the Temple. The service is scheduled for 6:30pm.

Your birth sanctified a Virgin’s womb and properly blessed the hands of Symeon. Having now come and saved us O Christ our God, give peace to Your commonwealth in troubled times and strengthen those in authority, whom You love, as only the loving One. ~ Kontakion (1st tone)

Scripture Study beginning tomorrow

A Scripture study,
The Revelation: The “Already” and the “Not Yet”, will begin tomorrow, Sunday, January 29, at 9am at St Matthew’s. The Divine Liturgy will follow at 10am.

The study will include insights from teachers and exegetes of ancient Christianity and will continue through Lent.

Join us in worship this Thursday evening, January 5th. There will be a vesperal liturgy commemorating the Baptism of the Lord. The service is scheduled for 6:30pm.

When in the Jordan You were baptised, Lord, the worship of the Trinity was made manifest. For the voice of the Father bare witness to You, calling You His beloved Son, and the Spirit, in the form of a Dove, confirmed the steadfastness of that word.
